Our Overall Philosophy
SIPHS is committed to protecting our users' privacy. This statement is meant to inform
our users of how we define, gather and utilize personally identifiable information. SIPHS will take reasonable steps to protect
user privacy consistent with the guidelines set forth in this policy and the applicable laws.
Anonymous Information
Cookies: A cookie is a small file, stored on your hard drive that is used to track your visits.
SIPHS only uses session cookies. A session cookie is temporary file and is only used to track a given visit. SIPHS uses session cookies to
link visitors to their registration information that allows our system to confirm a user's identity and access level on the site. SIPHS
requires you to login each time you visit the site. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it.
(However, by not accepting cookies our web pages will not function.)
Clear GIFs & Servers: We use electronic images known as "clear GIFs" --sometimes called "transparent GIFs", "Web bugs", or
"beacons" --that allow us to track general user traffic patterns. Siphs also automatically receives and records information from
our servers and from your browser, including your IP address, the time, and information about the page you requested.
We use these tracking technologies for a variety of purposes, including:
- Record your selection for removing links from groups, removing members from your community, leaving a group, or dissolving a group.
- Accumulating and reporting anonymous, aggregate, statistical information on Web site and content usage to our partners and customers
- Determining which features visitors like best to help us improve our content and site, personalize your user experience, and measure overall site effectiveness.
Personal Information Collected
SIPHS collects personal information supplied by visitors who register. That information lets
us better tailor our content to visitor interests and helps our advertisers better understand the audience they are reaching. Most of
SIPHS is free and is supported by paid content and sponsorships from our advertisers.
Sharing Information
We provide summary reports to the companies that advertise with us. The type of information
in a summary report is "3,000 people looked at your information this week, and of those people 60% clicked on this particular link."
SIPHS does not share personal information with our advertisers. Personal Information is only shared with persons
within your first degree social network. Additionally, our SiphsMail service will collect your email addresses if and only if you
opt-in. This information will be shared with the participating subscriber. Note that this information will not be shared with other parties
and will never be sold to third-parties.
Registration Password
Your Personal Information is password-protected to control access to this personal information.
We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. Siphs never asks for passwords in unsolicited phone calls or
unsolicited emails. Remember to sign out and close your browser window when you have finished. This is to ensure that others
cannot access your personal information if you share a computer with someone else, or are using a computer in a public place
such as a library or Internet cafe.

This site contains links to other Web sites. Siphs is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of
those sites. We encourage our users to be aware of this when they leave our site and urge them to review the privacy statements
of each Web site that collects personally identifiable information. The privacy statement applies solely to information collected
by this site.
Security
Siphs has implemented reasonable security measures to protect information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access,
disclosure, alteration or destruction. Our employees have been made aware of and are accountable for compliance with our privacy policy.
Business Transfers
If all or part of SIPHS is sold, merged or otherwise transferred to another entity, the Personal Information
and Activity Data that you have provided to us may be transferred as part of that transaction. In these circumstances, SIPHS will
take steps to ensure that the personal information is used by its successor in a manner that is consistent with the SIPHS Privacy Policy
in effect at the time SIPHS received the information.
Amendments
SIPHS may modify or amend this policy from time to time. If we make any material changes in the way in which
